Can someone do this question for me please

Find the gradient of the secant to the given curve, through the given points.
y=x^2, x=2 and x=4

answer=6

The 2 points are: A(2,4) and B(4,16)

You surely know how to find the gradient of AB = (16-4)/(4-2) = 6

The straight line passing thru A and B is called 'the secant thru A and B'.
