If you plan to do Maths Ext 1 or 2, will your marks from 2unit maths count towards your ATAR?

If you do MX2, then 2U maths will not be counted towards your ATAR.

If you don't do MX2 but you do MX1, then 2U maths will be counted towards your ATAR.

If you do MX2, you don't get assessed in 2U at all (but you'll be assessed for MX1)

If you do MX1 you get assessed for both MX1 and 2U
