Hi, I was just wondering about being super far ahead at tutoring ( coaching) will be detrimental to me? At school, we are still doing Locus and moving on to series and sequences but at tutoring in doing geometrical differentiation which is quite a few topics ahead and will have no relevance to my final exam this term. I understand the concept of being ahead in maths but is this too far ahead?

Thanks.

Completely up to you. If you feel like this is detrimental to your performance at school, then you should perhaps reconsider.

If you find that you are forgetting what you learn at tutoring too easily and/or aren't revising what you have learnt regularly even after you have completed them at tutoring, then perhaps consider moving to different tutoring centre that teaches at a pace slower to your school. However, if you regularly revise what you learn at tutoring, you should be well prepared for when you learn the topics at school.
