Hi, I've been thinking about my future lately, and I've been thinking that studying Medicine wouldn't be a bad idea if I could make it in.
However I do not participate in any Science subjects currently. I'm also currently in Year 11 and aiming to be in an extension class for one of my subjects next year
The main 3 Electives I currently do are
-Economics
-Legal Studies
-Modern History
-Mathematics 2 UNIT
-Standard English

Is it possible to make it into Medicine with my Subjects without doing Chemistry, Biology or Physics

I'm also wondering if I need to UMAT in order to get into Medicine although I haven't done the Science Courses

Furthermore, I don't understand the sections other than non verbal would be nice if someone explained it.

You probably could. (You could do anything, really.)

But the question is whether you should.

Unless if you genuinely enjoy biology (particularly anatomy), you should probably stay clear of medicine. I mean, you chose not to take any of the sciences for a reason, right?

I really enjoy Science, however I did pick BIOLOGY at first as it was the only subject recommended to me. But I replaced it with Economics, not because I don't like Bio but it was something that my Brother wanted me to get into. I could've gotten into Chemistry if I applied to it, because I had pretty great marks in my last 2 assessment tasks.

IF I do get into Medicine, Do I just do the course like everyone else? Or is there a draw back compared to me just doing something like Economics in University.

You do the course like everyone else. Actually, all the important medicine related bits in prelim/hsc biology are rushed through within the first 2 weeks of med lol.

You'd be in a slight disadvantage at first, because the rest of your cohort are students who topped the state with subjects like biology and chemistry. But if you can get into medicine in the first place, you're probably easily able to catch up on the content.

It's really up to you.

I took a look at UMAT example questions, The Shape ones looks simple enough but I don't quite understand how the worded questions work especially the ones where it shows you a table and asks you what can be seen from the table above.

Take a look at this table, no Biology/Physics is okay but no Chem will make you ineligible to apply to nearly half the med schools. Thus your opportunities will be more limited

The majority of these schools require UMAT, how high depends on your ATAR. For example you can get Griffith with 99.8+ without UMAT, for UNSW 99.50 needs 90+ %ile but 98.0 needs 98-99 %ile etc.

Subject choice does not matter. However, if applying to Undergraduate programs you will need to sit UMAT otherwise if you do a degree first and then decide upon Med in some unis they require the UMAT equivalent which is called GAMSAT as you are now a Graduate.

UMAT is divided into three sections:
Section 1: Logical reasoning and problem solving (48 questions)
Section 2: Understanding people (44 questions)
Section 3: Non-verbal reasoning (42 questions)

I am slightly jealous as some of the non-verbal questions finding the middle of the sequence trip me up. From what you are saying, you are struggling with the section 1 questions. With practice, you will tend to see the thought involved and it will become a little easier. There are practice materials put out by major companies to help with prep and there are websites like medstudents online and FB groups as well.

If you have the passion and desire I would say go for it. If not, it may be a hard road to undertake and a lot of science/anatomy/physiology to take in.

It would be possible, but science would definitely point you in the right direction.

It's definitely possible as the subjects you picked have decent scaling :)

If you do well in them, you have a solid chance!
