I get anticlockwise current (assuming it's a north pole)

since the coil went from being straight to a circle. there is change is magnetic flux and lenz's law states that it should oppose the change. so if the field lines ran from north to south. the coil will produce lines coming out of earth. since this is opposing the earths's magnetic field. there is an overall decrease in magnetic field strength
