if your looking at actually playing around with motors and stuff i think you'll be betta off doing an apprenticeship or maybe tafe, cause uni its more like the theory and the design of mechanics, but i haven't started the course yets so im not sure

The design?

Is it more heavy machinery or more car motors etc, because i have been studying cars and engines since a young age.

I hope someone can emphasise on the mechanical engineer course because i would really appreciate it. thankyou :D

haha dats right not just cars, mechanical engineering is mechanics of all moving parts, so planes cars boats, factory machinery, everything that moves so if your just looking at cars n appreticeship is more suitable for you ozzy

If u want to get a hands on job,
try a apprenticeship with some car place or tafe and learn mechanics,
uni mechanical engineering is more about automation, robotics and stuff.
Plus, tafe and apprenticships give u more hands on.

At uni I doubt they'll ever teach you how to install a turbo kit, or noss. Anyways, mech engineering is only uai 74 or something at uts and 60 at uws penrith.
I wanna learn how to install turbo, so I can install it in ma excel

= )
