So I really wanted to do mechanical engineering, but as it says on the UAC book that physics is assumed knowledge. Is it alright if I didn't pick physics as a HSC subject but I'm really good at ext 1 and ext 2 maths?

The physics you do in HS is practically useless lol
A better representation of the physics you do in uni would be the mechanics part in ext 2 maths
So you should be fine if you didn't do HSC physics
