N = Normal reaction; m = mass of particle

$Ncos \frac {\pi}{6} = mg \implies N = \frac {mg}{cos \frac {\pi}{6}} = \frac {mg}{\frac {\sqrt 3}{2}}\\ \\Ncos\frac {\pi}{3} = m \omega ^2 r \implies \frac {mg}{\frac {\sqrt 3}{2}} \times \frac {1}{2} = m \omega ^2 r \implies \omega^2 = \frac {g}{r \sqrt 3}$

I'm aware a diagram would help; but I do not know how to produce one.
