Med Sci timetable help (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I've just transferred from a B.Bus at UTS to the combined Med Sci/Business degree and was hoping that someone could explain the reason why timetabled classes are split into 3x lectures and a prac for certain subjects under the med sci stream?

I've enrolled in all classes, and assume I have to attend all of them, but I can't understand why subjects like Chem 1 and Cell bio & genetics have got 3 separate lectures running all at different times?

well i've enrolled for Med Sci and i dont have that problem, so it's best if u gave them a ring eh? r u sure it's not divided into a lecture, a tutorial and prac??

This one is for Chem 1:

Same thing for Cell bio & genetics, except that Lecture 1 runs for 2 hours, and Lecture 2 is for 1.

Could it be that the naming of the activity is wrong? i.e. the consecutive lectures 2 and 3 for Chem 1 indicate a lecture, and that lecture 1 is actually a 1 hour tute?

Any ideas?

it's not wrong or anything, and yes i've just checked CHEM as well as cell bio and they do have 3 seperate lec and a prac (sorry )
and every lec is an hour long, so it's not THAT bad
and the reason for it is because.... i dont hav a fckn clue to be honest...

Yep I got that too, exept that they are all full for me. I swear I got in it fine during enrollment day...

Also whats with the two different "sections"? Are they like 2 different sets of lectures and pracs? Like you either choose the lectures and pracs from one set or the other?

yeah, u have to choose one section i.e one line. even if u try otherwise, it will tell u that u cant be allocated cus u've chosen across sections.

Chemistry they usually have a few lectures on each week. All the same btw. If memory serves correctly
