ive got some files that are RAR or .RAR files that i cant playback, what media device do i need, they dont work with winamp, win media player, real player, quicktime, so what should i download to make them work..

RAR files are compressed, like ZIP files.
If you haven't already, use WinRAR to open them up, then they should work in one of your existing players.

Or if you're only into extracting .rar Download Total Commander (formerly known as Windows Commander) it has a built in rar decoder. It's free and I prefer to use that over the normal Explorer (My Computer).
