Medicine: Which UMAT course? (1 Viewer)

Hey all.

I am currently in Year 12 at Coffs Harbour and am preparing for medicine in University. I have seen a few UMAT companies but don't know which ones are the best.

Which UMAT course should I choose based on their skill and cost?

Most students undertake the medentry program followed by icarus and face2face.

I am not endorsing any umat prep, in many instances students don't find them useful, etc. Also other students do there own prep and just follow acer and do quite well, so I guess it depends on the individual.

They're not really worth it, imo. They cost an awful lot of money and they aren't really necessary. Many students don't do them, and do just fine. I know I didn't, and I smashed the UMAT. I have heard they help with the non verbal logic section, but really, you can improve on that by yourself... just pick up a decent puzzle book somewhere, they are surprisingly helpful.
