From your obvious A Levels, you need to contact directly the Australian institutions that have the Medicine program.

I think (though I am not sure) that they would probably just use your A-levels as they are the equivalent of our Year 12, so your GCSE's wouldn't matter :)

I dont know how it works though, what a-levels you'd need to get a UAI equivalent to what you'd need in medicine... so like groovejet said contact the uni's you're thinking of studying at.

usually 3 A's ~ UAI 98.5

all unis have similar but different criterias and interviews.. u are too late for 2007 admission tho.. as u need to start in like May till July to sit the para-admission exams for medicine and dentistry and then their respective interviews in some places..

might have a chance..

these are all the Aust/NZ medical schools.. read their sites for admission details.. some schools will not let u in tho.. such as UWS which does not have international spots available atm and Uni of Sydney as u need a bachelor's degree...

Are you A Local Student? Tom?

Here's a table (Provided by TISC, but UAC also use it) for conversion between A-levels and UAI

A LEVEL
POINTS UAI
2 58.0
3 62.0
4 66.0
5 70.0
6 73.0
7 76.0
8 79.0
9 81.0
10 84.0
11 87.0
12 89.0
13 92.0
14 96.0
15 98.0
16 98.0
17 98.2
18 98.5
19 98.7
20 99.0

actually, 15 points is only 98.00

suggestion...call the instituions u want to go to direct...
they all have different requirements and levels to get into medicine...and there are other requirements (eg/ having to sit umat or isat if overseas; interview etc)
better to get the information in one hit and ask as many questions as you can...and if u hang up and have more questions, dont hesitate to call them back or email
:)
