What are some way you guys remember your stuff? Is it reading your notes 30 minutes before you sleep? Or asking questions to your notes, in order to understand further? List some of the ways!

I'd say a minimum of twenty minutes without any distractions.

depending on what kind of learner you are
visual- diagram based notes, posters, sticky notes which makes you actually visualise the info
verbal- recite, listen to recorded notes

2. Look at it.
3. Explain its links.
4. Write it again.

This really did work for me. With this approach, you are not only solidifying it into your memory, but are also continuously repeating the thought processes that lead you to recall that perfectly memorized answer. Memorize but also follow up with free verse explanations to yourself without looking at the material to ensure a holistic and strongly linked understanding of your text! Cheers!
