I go to a school ranked ~100, and I messed up one of my internal tasks for Legal Studies. My school doesn't do very well in Legal Studies, in the past few years receiving only a few B6s.

I did good on the first task and horrible on the second, and my cumulative internal rank (45% of internals done so far) is 8/22 - I have virtually given up hope on getting a Band 6 in Legal and getting the All-Rounder award.

Could someone give me advice on how much of a comeback I can theoretically make, and how the outlier system works with externals (I've heard if I do exceptionally well in externals I could be considered an outlier, but I have no idea what the system behind this is).

Thanks.

the outlier system really only works if ur ranked 2nd and the 1st internal ranker does very bad in the hsc exam
