any1 know if you need to pass every assessment item to pass or is it just 50% overall.. as anyone failed ie the final and still passed? PLEASE HELP.. IM STRESSING OUT SO MUCH

the subject manual says "a total of 50% on all assessment items is required to pass the subject"
does that mean 50% for each or 50% overall

Did it in 2008. Was on ~90% going into the final, did shit, and ended up on 57% overall. Therefore I must have failed the final. Badly. But I got a P. So I don't think its absolutely necessary to pass it.

Some subjects will require a pass in each assessment criteria, but from my experience science subjects which state this is just to motivate the students to put in the effort. Normally the SC has discretion to pass you even if you failed... say your assignment, but maintained > 50% overall.
