Hi, i'm an italian student, i'm going to graduate in a month or two...
I'm working at my thesis of which the subject is a case study on QANTAS and, in particular, competitive strategy applied to it...
Now i need to find info about it (for example Michael Porter Model applied to QANTAS, etc.)

An explanation of a 5 Forces Analysis anywhere would come with an example for an airline industry....Google/wikipedia around. I'm sure you'll need something specific if you are actually doing a thesis as opposed to wk4 tute for management acct.

Barriers of entry into the industry will be a big advantage for quantas. The high start up costs of coming into this industry is a big deterrent for new entrants.

Also, If I remember correctly, the industry has gone through deregulation recently - is this a trend that we can expect in the future?

Something random that I remember, there should be plenty around with a bit of snooping.
