back on topic, to be more exact, when your transfering in your first year:
mid-year transfer is based completely on your uai.

after your first year of uni, it is based on 50% uai, 50% uni marks. this is when your failures in your first semmester will be accounted.

after your second year, it then becomes 25% uai, 75% uni marks etc
