should we know about Millikan?
Is it a good idea to research his experiment of cathode rays for the H.S.C?

Cause we got an assignment in which we had to research his experiment!

yep his oil experiment is very good to know, we just watched a video on it. It enables you to measure the charge of an electron, which is in one of the dot points i think.

i doubt it... i was taught by an undragrad student of 02 or 01... but when i was making syll summary i wasn't aware of any dp which specificially ask u to do taht...

no theres no dot point which specifically asks u abt millikan's experiment , so this means it can't be tested directly in the HSC...i had just read it once....i reckon even u shud read it over ......

they look literally the same though. its just their work functions are found differently.
