Mistakes in Textbook?? (1 Viewer)

I have just started Year 11 Advanced Math, and we are using the Maths in Focus textbook 4th edition. I am quite concerned because there a few instances where I have looked at the answers page and the answers are definitely incorrect, from numbers to formatting and simpler things like what pronumeral is meant to be used (for example putting an x where there was meant to be y in algebra). I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or is using this textbook and has noticed it too?

It would be good if you could provide instances. Generally, it best to ask teacher for advice and ask questions rather than saying X is wrong as it closes the conversation. You could also look for an errata if possible.

yeah most hsc math textbooks have quite a lot of mistakes especially if they aren't a revised edition, although if over 5% of the questions have mistakes that's probably abnormal
i'd recommend emailing your teacher if there's any answers you're unsure with though!

highkey maths in focus is buns, as are chem and phys in focus

I know but there have been other issues too that was just another I noticed today
