mod deleting threats with no apparent reason? (1 Viewer)

I posted a thread about Cambridge Maths Extension 2 textbook yesterday, asking if anyone has the worked solution for that textbook, and the thread was gone, deleted on the second day which is today. I receive no notification or any reason why it was deleted. If people going to delete a thread, at least tell me the reason to do so?

copyright issues lol. asking around hsc discord servers might be more conducive to success.

We expect everyone to be aware of the above rules/guidelines when using the forum (these are all stickied posts). Practically speaking, we don't want to have to keep repeatedly explaining ourselves to users each time we remove posts/threads, as the actions will be largely consistent with these rules/guidelines.

No requests for copyrighted material nor advertising the trading/distribution of copyrighted papers/textbooks allowed. Posts will be deleted without warning, and there will be consequences for repeat offenders.

In principle that's okay, but what usually happens is that someone replies saying they can share it for free (thereby breaching copyright rules).

At the end of the day, the last thing this site needs is a complaint from authors/publishers threatening legal action against us for breaching copyright (which has happened before).
