My areas of study are the same as the OPs except my class did Albert Speer for the personality, and Germany 1919-1939 for the national study.

I felt I went alright, particularly in National Studies, since, by a stroke of luck, I'd be concentrating on the Nazi rise to power the previous day as I had realised I couldn't remember how Hitler became Chancellor.

I dunno about ireland, but let's just say the questions were very general. Know at least a few quotes for Trotsky :)

i think the trial was okay, the questions were pretty straight forward.
only thing is, im pretty sure i completely stuffed up my germany section, i freaked out and wrote what was essentially a narrative account of what happened....i gave no reasons why it happened :(
and now i have a new teacher who marks really hard. im preeeetty sure the trial will ruin the rest of my assessments.

I thought the germany section was really good, i did the rise of the nazi party despite hardships, nice and broad, although I only used one or two sources for that one :S But I had plenty of sources for my other topics especially my personality so i think i went ok.

Well... I had my modern history trial yesterday. My topics are:
1. Core WW1
2. Russia & The Soviet Union 1917-1941
3. The Cold War
4. Mikhail Gorbachev

Umm... I didn't have much time 2 study since we were all overloaded with other assessments in the coming weeks, so I only studied the two big points in the Russia syllabus (Bolshevik consolidation of power & Totalitarianism.)

Unfortunately, the questions were Stalin's rise to power and Soviet Foreign Policy. My brain was mush, so I didn't attempt the national study question at all. 25 marks gone. I'm so screwed. My rank is going to plummet.

My topic were:
1. Core: WW1
2: Germany: Republic to Reich 1918-1939
3: Leni Riefenstahl
4: Conflict in the Pacific

Trial Exam tomorrow.
My teacher makes all exams/tests/assessments hard.
Hardly had time to study.
EPIC FAIL!

I don't get Conflict in the Pacific at all!
I believe my teacher told us to focus on why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, which i'm currently summarising.
However, I think I'll bomb out on the whole thing.
I had my legal exam today.
Two three hours test in two days.
Same thing for the HSC.
Only good thing is that I have a week between General Maths and Legal Studies to study for them!
And weeks prior to the HSC to fix up my summaries.
Oh dear.

Terrible exam this morning.
I think I may have gone alright for Leni Riefenstahl and some of WW1 (had a mental blank on one of the 10 mark questions so I leaked as much as I could out of the sources, but made up for it with the other question). I practically regurgitated any information I knew for Germany and filled almost three pages (most of which probably wasn't relevant to the question anyway... or incorrect information). Conflict in the Pacific... yeah didn't do much. Page and a half of information highly likely to be untrue or irrelevant.
Sigh.
At least its Friday.

Ancient on Monday afternoon.
