What volume would 1.32g carbon dioxide occupy at 25 degree C and 100.0kPa pressure?

I dont see how im getting the wrong answer.

I got 0.74 L.

1.32/44= 0.03 mol

0.03x 24.79

=0.74L:confused:

Your answer is correct. I would assume that the answer given is wrong or is calculated using the older values for volume (i.e. 24.5L for 25C and 100kPa, given in Conquering Chem 3rd edition).

I'm using conquering chemistry 4th edition.

The answer said 11.9L

My friend just said that she got the same answer as me so I guess its wrong. I wonder how many more of the answers are wrong.

Sometimes their questions are wrong too. There's one question about naming esters that had a hydrogen atom double bonded to an oxygen atom.

It's the constant that you multiply by the number of moles, denoting the conditions of the reaction taking place at 25oC and 100 kPa pressure.
