Morals are more personal values that YOU hold, ethics are more general and applicable to a larger group (ie. business ethics/school ethics).

All in all, it's the same as they both influence the choices you make.

yeah that was my perception. my class is often confused on this, as the syllabus uses the term interchangably, using one another to define eachother..

if that makes sense??

The terms are used more or less interchangeably, even within moral/ethical theory - i.e. there isn't any one strict, agreed upon distinction. Traditionally, ethics has been the science, or philosophical study, of morality but you could just as well use the term 'moral theory'. Ethics is also used to specify a particularly system, e.g. Judeo-Christian Ethics or Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics but you could similarly use the term 'moral system'. Advice: look to the syllabus and see if it offers any definitions, otherwise they can probably be used loosely.

...Then why post it?

Why does it matter?

On topic -

Should ask Kfunk over this subject, he seems to be involved significantly.

ok i understand what ur say kfunk...
but in terms of a legal definition??
and the syllabus def. uses one another to define one another..
so for eg.
if a question comes up saying state the difference between morals and ethics.. what should be written?
