this year I've re-read everything i was ever meant to read in school and didn't and thoroughly enjoyed all of it except Emma.

yeah no my vote goes for 50 shades, primarily because i've read hotter porn about dobby and the giant squid fucking

The Skull Beneath the Skin by PD James; awful crime fiction text. I studied it in English Ext.1, but that's not why I hate it. James' prose is verbose and the plot is rubbish.

NB. I did like Ext.1 - what I mean by "that's not why I hate it" is that one may often hate a book simply because they were required to study it for school, as has been discussed here. That's not the case for me.
