So what happened was, my computer was previously buggered until I just recently got the motherboard replaced. But while it was buggered, the USB ports weren't working properly, and when I plugged my MP3 player into the computer through a USB port, the computer did something to the songs on it, and now when I plug it into any computer, the songs won't show up at all on the comp. Instead I get a message saying something like "this location is not accessible blah blah."

So now I can't really change any songs on the MP3 player. So my question is, is there a way to wipe everything from my MP3 player and start again, like resetting it? Cos deleting songs through the computer doesn't work.

If it's one of those cheap Asian-Import mp3 players, you can format the player through the player's menu itself.
It's from Korea, but it wasn't relatively cheap. I looked through the menu and couldn't find anything about formatting it...?
