i got an early entry offer for bachelor of IT but im kinda considering software engineering now. i've heard that the engineering degrees at mq are shit but idrk if thats actually true.

how's mq's bachelor of IT? is it decent?

and which one would maximise my credit transfers (IT or software engineering?) if i wanna eventually transfer to UNSW's comp sci or USYD's computing? i was thinking it'd be IT after looking at the course units but im still kinda not sure haha

IT is more broad, software engineering is more technical and more coding. I would recommend a Go8 uni for either tbh, but UTS might also be decent if u can't get into UNSW or USYD.
