AFIN102 is pretty hard imo, at least for a first year subject. I've heard it's been called to be the (or one of) hardest 1st year units. Probably wouldn't do it unless it was a pre req. I got complacent in the early sem but the content is genuinely hard to understand, especially with it being based from a masters level text book.

A better tutor could also help, I've been having issues with tutors and lecturers having fairly heavy accents to a point where I can't understand what they're saying 30% of the time.

'General Journal' pronounciation was a bit of a running joke in my accounting classes.

the assignments and tests are nowhere near to the level of theory of the lectures (as in they're easier). some of the questions in the homework are pretty hard as well

idk my tutor doesn't go through even half of the questions so it makes shit really confusing
