Nope tom, i havent heard anything about it for months.......

Last i heard was about an April 2005 release, Obviously that passed long ago.

No new official release date has been set, so i suppose you just have to wait untill Microsoft get it finished or even bother to say how they are going.....

oh and yeah editing of any type is usually best on a mac. Only thing they are good for really :p

An update on msn for Mac.

Today again a Mac-oriented website from The Netherlands posted the release date of MSN Messenger for Mac 5.0, as August 9th.

The credibility of the report however cannot be verified.

UPDATE NOW! 7.5 FINAL has been released!

MSN Messenger 7.5.0299 final released!

Microsoft have released a final version of MSN Messenger 7.5 (7.5.0299) on the public MSN Messenger site. Official information seems not to have been updated yet as the site is still displaying MSN Messenger version 7.0.

Some of the new features that have been incorporated in this updated version are the ability to add people, start a conversation, start a video conversation and start a voice conversation via a link in a webpage.

ive been told that you can 'add' emoticons that other people send you, but i seem to only have the 'copy' and the 'select all' (which is blanked out) when i right click on the pic.
what gives?!?.

you using any add-ons/patches?

Some options on mess patch esp are known to remove that 'add' option unintentionally.

Okay a number of new developments in the MSN world.....

1. A new MSN version was released yesterday. 7.5.0306 is a minor update that fixes a few bugs. Nothing major though. Its probally not neccesary to update to it if you are having no problems with your current version.

2. A new version of Messenger Plus was also released. 3.60 introduces countless bug fixes as well as TABBED CONVOS. I reccommend you check that feature out!
-Download @ www.msgplus.net

3. A new, improved Mess Patch dubbed "generation 3". Basically it has a cleaner friendlier interface. "Generation3, as we call it, centralizes all 73 tweaks for MSN Messenger 7.5.0299 and 7.5.0303 into ONE PAGE with a treeview listbox. You'll soon become accustomed with this new interface, which leaves room for many more options in the future. And from now on short descriptions inform the user exactly what an option does."
