If you're offended, then you have the right to be offended

But the Quran doesnt get published in newspapers across Europe
why is that a difference that matters? what is the difference between a newspaper printing something or any other printing entity, such as those that print the quran? they're both private companies.

Re: Jihad Against Danish Newspaper

I've had enough of being politcally correct. I think the Muslim religion is the most volatile and sickening religion on earth and this bullshit over the cartoons is just a front. They've been looking for an excuse to shoot their bullets into the sky for ages.

What comes up must come down.

wait, are you saying that sometimes its ok to offend someone and sometimes not?

the reason it doesn't make a difference between publishing in a paper or publishing in a book is that its still private companies publishing something. now, if the gov't had published the cartoons, there would be a very different element to this debate.

does that matter?
So I, one person, can say that I believe that the works of Smith, Friedman, Hayek, Rand, etc are inspired by God, and noone can criticise them anymore?

But there is a difference between just causing offence and religious vilification and blasphemy
