consistency-layout has to be constant throughout?
n...
simplicity-design must be simple
i remember by CNS (thanks lwaxana)
forgot the N
I don't know if this is right
arh Im gonna fail IPT

what was the right answer?

Consistent: Layout, format and style should be the same throughout.
Navigation: People need to understand the structure and easily find wanted information.
Simple: Users get too confused when too many design elements are used.

Okay, here's the deal...

You DON'T get to post a question unless you post an answer!

Simple yeah?

Post 1) Answer to previous question... new question.
Post 2) Answer to post 1... new question.
Post 3) Answer to post 3... new question.

New Q!
Identify and explain four different screen types.
Screen types, as in monitors?

I think this question has already been brought up! But maybe you didn't read the rest of the thread, so that's okay...

Do you want to know screen types as in, CRT and LCD, or are you going more along the whole SVGA XGA MDA path? And do you think such a question would come up in our paper? perhaps!

Might, cause some of the Multimedia sections usually ask for the meaning, but l'm just reading through my multimedia notes so if it asks for an explanation l'll know, but they surely wont ask that question in a long response question

How does a CRT monitor produce its image :)
the gun at the back of the monitor fires a beam of electrons onto the phosphorus screen. It repeats this very constantly depending on the refresh rate.

oooohhh !! I do Physics !

The electron beam is deflected magnetically by magnetic coils.
If it weren't for this magnetic deflection, the electrons will only produce a bright spot in the middle.

I'd mention that too.

A graphic is just a still picture...

Animation is either Path or Cell Based and shows signs of movement within it...It is a rapid series of still pictures to make it look like a video.

IPT General Question
List the stages in the system development cycle.
Multimedia Question
Again another easy question...

Contrast between Lossy and Lossless compression.
I doubt that would be a question in the HSC Exam though, its too easy.

SDC = UMDIT
Lossy compression takes away data.
Lossless compression does not take away any data.

Warping involves one image and distorting it or changing it. - Needs 1 image.
Morphing involves the transition between image 1 and image 2 - Needs 2 images.

Frame rate is how quickly frames are displayed after each other. Usually uses FPS (Frames Per Second). A higher FPS means that the display of video will be clearer. Higher the FPS the higher processing is also required. Also with a high FPS the storage size increases.
