Well, I just looked at "Actions = Claim Accepted" and saw the tick.
Looked up and saw another tick under the Rules "Police report submitted".

A claim is only accepted if a police report has been submitted.
So I would think B for Q17.

im pretty sure its c cuz in the first column a police report is submitted and the claim is rejected...

for question 14 ;

i thought it was B, but you only divide by 8 if its in bits, but each character takes up 1byte, so you wouldnt divide by 8.

i guess i got that wrong then :(

Yeah, now that I look at it, 17 was C -- thanks :)

*Hi 5*

Hey, me too FadeToBlack!
I wrote C for 16, I felt "011" represented the third second, more so than "100".

6. A because it asks for the structure. I don't think field name, size or type has anything to do with it

7.B not sure
14.D because each letter is 1 byte, and there are 1024 bytes in one kilobyte not 8*1024
17.C fuck can't beleive i got it wrong
19.C fuck can't beleive i got it wrong

Huy, mind briefly explaining why 6 is A?
attributes are part of a schema.

So that's why I didn't pick B.

Not the best explanation, but everything in A is contained in a database.

file > record > field > character.

C and D were definately out.

Attributes = relational databases

Flat file databases contain everything in A.

I had a gut feeling it was A, to be honest, seeing the attribute bit put me off, although it could be equally correct. (not too sure about 'size' and 'type' though.. in terms of data structure - in the question)

Also,
Field name has nothing to do with data structures...

with question 14, all you need to know (and what i DIDN'T know, and still dont) is if each character is worth 1 bit, or 1 byte

If its 1 bit, then the 8 is needed for it to become bytes, and the 1024 is needed for it to become kilobytes

If it is 1 byte, then the 8 is not needed
so which is it?

I thought you need 8 bits to reperesent one character which makes each character one byte.

Once someone can confirm wether 1 character is 1 bit (making b true), or if one character is 1 byte (making d true) , then the anser is obvious

1 character is 8 bits, or 1 byte.

D
*cuss*

I looked at "in kilobytes" and my mind went to:

---------------
8 x 1024

Size in character length... characters in bytes.

No need for the 8 (assuming characters in bits). :(

LOL. Not a problem :)

I did last minute Multipling Choicing, but it was only 16 and 19. (the 010 100 001 and Primary/Foreign key questions).

Went through the multiple choice,
Did the options
Went back and completed the middle Core Q's

:)
