im a little confused about the question with the pendulum and that split-ring thing.

Does EMF get induced into ring that isn't closed? I thought it did, but I've heard that it doesn't, hence the answer was the constant zero emf graph?

Mine look fairly similar with a couple different. Unlucky on question 19, i put C at first and quickly realised my mistake thank fuck haha. Pretty sure your number 7 is right, unless i can't use a calculator either.

That number 7 is...but the one I put in the exam...I don't think it was that (can't remember...oh well)

20 is A.

W is proportional to F (W=fs)

so half of init. grav. potential energy is half init. force.
If grav Ep is halved, then radius is doubled... So according to F = Gm1m2/d^2 , Grav force is quartered... Hence answer is D

Hey, i'm pretty sure the answer to Question 9 is A. It's a trick question because the spacecraft isn't moving away or towards the observer so Length Contraction doesn't occur.

Doesn't it contract in the direction of motion? (meaning answer is B)

observer across the street can see length contraction...

It's not a trick question, it moves relative to the observer, who is across the street. It's B

Its a repulsive force between the two rods because tey have a cureent in different directions. Hence the distance of the ro depends on the current that glows through them?
