Music Client - Media Monkey (1 Viewer)

Hi all, i've been using media monkey (www.mediamonkey.com) as my music client to replace wmp11 and itunes for 5 years now and its fantastic. If you have any questions about it let me kow and i'll try to answer.

I don't like. I tried to use it, but nah. Have you checked out JetAudio? I use JetAudio on my Windows drive and it's quite good- with K-lite Mega Codec Pack, JetAudio would be the only player you'd need.

About one week ago friend, MediaMonkey 2.5.5.998. Honestly though, it depends on the person; many people like Real Player, while others like Windows Media Player. I personally use a media player called Amarok; it's designed for linux distrobutions (e.g. Kubuntu). Here's a link to other media players if you're interested in trying others:

yea im currently using the media monkey version 3 beta.. much better.
supports all ausio format, browse by album art etc... new interface as well

Yeah, JetAudio is awesome, i use it frequently for listening to audio. For video i use CCCP/z-player

itunes is the worst.. apart from downloading vodcasts

used to use jetaudio, until i got an ipod.
=.= ...itunes hog way too much cpu power on my comp though

iTunes is a hog. I still use it though... I wish I had the time to get a decent Foobar config going..

Anyone heard about Songbird? It's based upon the Mozilla Firefox engine and it's completely open source and customizable. Still in either Alpha or Beta though and when I put my 8000 song library into it, it pretty much shit itself.
