But thumbs down on the Flow Rida song. I've had a bad run in with that song at school because some girls were playing the first 10 seconds of the song over and over again for 75mins because they were practising a rountine for their dance. It really really pissed me off.

Yeah, sometimes I also put my IPod on shuffle mode. You forget sometimes that the music is playing, and your mind is focused on the work. When the class was listening to music whilst doing maths q's in class, my maths teacher told the class that psychologists said that listening to music will affect our exam results, with factors such as environment conditions, lyrics of the music etc. Probably true...not sure.

Change the lyrics of your favourite song to make it related to the subject, record yourself and then play it on repeat.

Yeah, I can't really concentrate with music on. Acoustic is pretty good for when you're studying. Apparently anything classical with a steady beat and no lyrics is great but i haven't tried that btw, catherinet MCR is awesome
