You need to disassociate the plights of boats people and refugees who are truly being accepted with migrants that have come here. Think about it logically if you could, disregard anecdotal stories told over a schooner of VB for a sec. There are about 150 000 indians in Aus by birth and another 150 000 by ancestory. Even if all taxi drivers were Indian, there are tens of thousands of other Indians employed elsewhere, WORKING, PAYING TAXES, working in a SKILLED area.

Well I consider my self to be Indian Australian, but lets say I was Indian, it doesn't matter to me if there is 1000 different ethnicities in India, I consider my self and people in India consider me to be 'Indian'. Thats why I think all Australians regardless of ethnicity should be called 'Australian'. But your ilk is unable to accept that, and resort to cheap generalizations of non white people and only accept white people as Australians.
