Tool has some really good video clips....
They're all spooky and surreal, I think Schism was there lastest one, but that was ages ago.
I tend to like clips that aren't just flashy and eye candy. I like them when its obvious that its not just an advertisement for the song, but sorta like something that compliments the feel and mood of the music... And if they have some meaning behind it as well...
My favourite video clips of all-time are....
Just- Radiohead
Karma Police- Radiohead
Pyramid song- Radiohead
Aenima- Tool
Stinkfist- Tool
Army of Me- Bjork
Come to Daddy- Aphex Twin
there more.... can't think of any more though.
Anyone else seen ANY of the ones I've mentioned?
I think the Radiohead film clip for 'Just' is one of the cleverest film clips I have ever seen. I like the one for Pyramid song too, it captures the feeling of the song very effectively. I am glad to see that radiohead fans are so well represented here.
Some of my other fave clips are:
Blur- music's got me dancing one
Run Dmc - it's like that for the awesome breakdancing battle(much better and more authenthic than the bombfunk mcs), and walk this way with aerosmith, because its just so cock-rock.
Prodigy-smack my bitch up. iots a good perv and its got a interesting twist at the end.
Micheal jackson- almost anything from him is exellant
Cato salsa experience- so the circus is back in town. is cool cause it just has a band rocking out hard in a backyard and thats it.
The Vines Highly evolved is brave
