Then when I watched the ep where they actually go to the gala I laughed =)

I haven't seen that episode yet =(

I'm up to the episode where they reveal how they got their cutie marks. "DUMB ROCK!" - one of the best lines in the series. Rarity's voice acting is... epic.

You should also know that Episodes 1 and 2 are the ones that got the lowest critical rating. Personally, my picks are 3 (The Ticket Master), 8 (Look Before you Sleep), 9 (Bridle Gossip), 10 (Swarm of the Century), 11 (Winter Wrap Up), 12 (Call of the Cutie), 18 (The Show Stoppers) and 23 (The Cutie Mark Chronicles).

Winter Wrap Up has the best song of the season.

And yes, I agree, they all have amazing voice actors. And that's rare in the animation industry these days. o-o

I wouldn't know much about voice actors quality, I don't really watch animation much these days.

But uhh, yeah. Watched Episode 3 of Season 2, the much hyped "Lesson Zero". It was described to me as perhaps the one episode you could show someone to prove to them it's not a show for little girls, and... well, yeah. It kinda did. Plus the whole thing I felt was pretty well written and I think it's one of the episodes where you can really really appreciate the very, very high animation quality.
