You're allowed to do all three. It's just a problem when you get timetables like the one last year - with the three sciences on three consecutive weekdays.

That's just plain stupid -- I could do 17 units as well, I just would end up getting 20% for 3 particular subjects

and what the fuck kind of a cunt does 17 units? To show off?

I did 16 units for a time. But then I realised I hated economics so I dropped it - so I did 14 units of subjects which I liked.

So that 17-unit person may just really like all his/her subjects.

That is a lot of units dude. I started off with 14 and then i thought..why bother.

All science is fun.

You need to consider how much time you are willing to sacrifice for year 11 and 12. I personally think doing that many units is just unnecessary. You can try it for yourself but you may find that it is difficult to juggle that many different subjects unless you are an absolute time management master and love everything you're doing. But seriously, 12 is enough.

I'm thinking of nt doing biology/sport but instead I pick english Ext. so i get 13Us but the thing is that I wouldn't handle it with all the boring poems.. so if I drop it during my yr 11 do i HAVE to pick a new subject inorder to be 13U cause if I drop the english ext i'll be 12U

Extension 1 English is not 'boring poems'. It depends on what elective your school picks.

If you drop it during Year 11, I think you need 12 units for Prelim so you should be fine.
