you have to have atleast 12 units and 4 subjects....
HAHA maybe its if they throw in a few more subjects with 3 units to pick from for prelim.. meh just a thought for the future, it holds great thingsstudentcheese said:Yeah, how does that make minimum of 12?
I mean, even with this combination:
MX1 - 3
EX1 - 3
Chem - 2
Ancient - 2
You only have 10 units.
Ancient or Eco? I'm very glad I didn't have to change any of my subjectsTBK11 said:umm a lil bit confused according to my year advisor i need to have 6 subjects thats the minimum since i cancelled out my TVET i need 6 so far i got
Ex1 Maths
Ex1 English
Chemistry
Biology
Retail operations
now 1 more is needed choices that are available
Ancient History
Physics (haha no way)
Economics
Japanese Beginners
French Beginners
S.D.D
i got till monday to find another subject cause my interview didnt finish ran out of time so any suggestions
TBH im not really interested in any of these scaling isnt a factor to me totally stuffed
There is no way that is physically possible since the highest value of units for one subject is only 3 in prelim. Im pretty sure its 12units with atleast 5subjects for prelim. Its 10unit and FOUR subjects for HSC.lolman12567 said:you have to have atleast 12 units and 4 subjects....
Variety is the spice of life~~~TBK11 said:Theres one thing i dont get why cant someone do something like this
Maths Ex2
English Ex2
Chemistry
Total= 10Units
i mean its 10U and they are all A subjects so why dont they allow this why must it be 4 oh whyy
They don't allow it so that if you decide that you can't cope with the degree of work required by the two extension 2 courses you have the option of dropping one or both of them instead of being forced to do them for your HSC. Think about it logically, if you thought that you would love e.g. Extension 2 English and only did 10 units but then found the major work too hard and wanted to drop, you wouldn't be able to as you would have less than the required 10 units. A minimum of four subjects allows a person to have options if they realise that they have underestimated the difficulty of these higher order extension courses.TBK11 said:Theres one thing i dont get why cant someone do something like this

Nope its 4 subjects with a minimum of 12 units, try the Board of Studies site, google it or find it in wikipedia but you need 12 units with a minimum of 4 subjectsagirlinatutu said:There is no way that is physically possible since the highest value of units for one subject is only 3 in prelim.
