Need a literal related short story text for the concept of "discovery" asap !!?!??! (1 Viewer)

I have a 500 word related text to do on discovery but im yet to find a related text, poems are a no go and that leaves me with a short story. Does anyone have any ideas for a like 1-5 page short story related to the concept of discovery... would be much appreciated

What is your prescribed text? Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Tell-Tale Heart' is a good short story for discovery, and Jospeh Conrad's novella 'Heart of Darkness' is great - particularly for The Tempest
