Look up some cartoon sites online-there is heaps of stuff. Yes, Leunig is good, but he is very widely used by students and too many kids use the same ones. Try to be original in what you use. Try your local Library for books on cartoons/cartooning or collections of cartoons or comics. I'll try to remember the cartoon site I often used and post it. Good luck with finding what you want!

Dont forget your common garfield/snoppy/archie/superhero ones. There are a bazillion resources for them on the internet, so dont forget to look at them too
