Can someone point me in the right direction to

- Draw & label an example of metallic lattice?

Please, any help is much appreciated...

I'm only guessing, and I personally would not trust me if I were you but I think its umm .. like there are nuclei which are all positively charged because of the protons within the nucleus and there are delocalised electrons which float/hover/fly around these nuclei. sorta like this (although correct me if im wrong) =] :

A sea of delocalised electrons. The valence electrons break off and makes the outer shell complete.

ps. what is the differnce in the nature of the bonding between Covalent networks and covalent molecular. Is it just that the network structure is more sturdy?

Lots of negative(ly charged) (balls); fewer big positive(ly charged) balls. There you have it.

In that picture, the cuprous [copper (II)] ions (cation) are the big blue spherical atoms, and the negatively-charged (obv., otherwise they're not) electrons are free flowing.
