you just gotta be able to analyse a text and know what an author is trying to do/say.

e.g they usually ask how journies are represented in the text...

You will then say the author uses language devices then use an example.

depending on how many marks is how indepth your discussion goes. Don't stress about this section so much. Can't really study for it cept do past papers and know different techniques.

hey ppls plz can someone help me with the first section of area of study... i really dnt no what to do for it? like what are u ment to know? its hard...

all you need to know is WHAT journey is represented and HOW.

so remember your types of journeys and then techniques for different textypes, because you will be given pieces to look at and will need to answer these questions.

the last question is normally asking you to compare the tets in some way.

You can't ask a question like that without specifying which text you are doing.
