hi, im doing saving francesca and have to write about language and text features for the inner journey and my mind has kinda gone to a blank can anyone help with a few?

Well, heres a few little ideas for textual features:

Use of personal pronouns such as "I", "me" etc. This helps to engage the reader and create a personal tone.

Story is told in first person, in this way, the narator takes the reader into her confidence so the reader can journey along too. It is in this way that Francesca's journey to self-discovery, is revealed to us.

Characterization of William Trombal acts as a catalyst for Francesca's inner journey.

Use of dialogue

Told in the present tense.
