I'm doing this assignment and i need information on:
- Detailed use of indicators around the home
- The use of indicators in a variety of named industries.

Going on memory, was it the red cabbage, when boiled turn blue when a base was added??? I never really litened much to this, boring. Please correct me because im probabley wrong :).

The red cabbage is a lab experiment that we did but it's of no use for anything 'around the home'.
Hydrangea is a natural indicator to show the acidity and basicity (red in acidic soil and blue/purple in basic soil) so it's good for gardening.
The indicator for swimming pool is a good example. (as far as I remember that box has 3 ways to show 3 different thing the pH, total H+ and st else)
Some people use litmus papers for fun.
I can't think of anything else normally used by us around our houses.
