I'm of to year 12 in about one week and a bit. My subjects are English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Art and Ancient history.

Is it possible to get a 95+ UAI and i mean RELIASTICALLY, none of this, if the GODs are kind enough BS:p

Cause i want to get into pharmacy and i dont belive my UAI will be high enough. I could always do chemical engineering, but i rather pharmacy lol.

And which of my subjects will scale me down and up??? People tell me physics sales the most and ancient will sale me down aswell as English and Art????

Hmmmm, looks like i hit the jackpot of badluck with my subjects?

If you work hard and do well in all subjects, i dont see why you can't get a UAI of 95+.

According to UAC with your subjects also English Advaced the Max UAI last year for a person undertaking: English ADV, Mathematics 2U, Chemistry, Physics, Art and Ancient history was 100.

None of your subjects apart from eng adv/std scale you down. If your doing eng std max uai last year was 99.7, in adv it was 100.
Eng Adv scales down heaps last year one person obtained a UAI of 100 with mark of 89 in Eng Adv with no eng ext's. Remember your UAI is dependend of the 10 units counted not just one subject which might scale you down. 100 UAI is possible with no ext subjects it has been done a few times before.

Studying 2-3+ everyday and properly should get you a high uai.

with a bit of hard work, there is no reason why you cant get a uai of 95+
dont focus too much on scaling, focus on giving your best and getting good marks because if you do that, then you wont have a problem with achieving your goal.
best of luck

NO - actually the sciences scale really well, Maths pretty well and Ancient not too badly. There's no point worrying about the scaling of English because everyone has to do it.

Regardless, all scaling does is makes it fairer - if a subject scales badly it is easier to do well (in relation to the rest of the state) than it is in a subject that scales well.

Yes.

The sciences scale well, and only english scales you down, but if you do well in it, then scaling shouldn't be a problem. Just put in the effort and you should be fine.
