Hi, im currently in year 11 and hoping to do the following subjects in year 12 (2010), can someone tell me how well each of these subjects will scale:

English Advanced
English Extensions I
English Extension II
Visual Arts
Design & Technology
Vietnamese Continuers

Also, i'm not sure whether to drop down from 2U Mathematics to General or just drop it completly? I plan to go into Graphic Design..

the rest don't
general maths, VA, DT and viet have almost identical scaled means. so if ur sure that ur gonna get a higher percentile in VA, DT and viet, drop maths, if they're about the same keep it

so by high percentile..does that mean getting a high mark?

so if i continue with 2U Maths and dont do so well like get in the 70s or 80s..would that scale my ATAR down?

if u do 2u and its ur worst, it simply won't count, only the best 10 units count, the only disadvantage of doing extra units is the time it takes away from studying other subjects

i mean by percentile, how well you perform relative to the rest of ur class or ur ranking, it may be harder to tell if you go to a small school or for viet which probably doens't have many people doing it
