yes, better. LOL.I'll give u reassurance. This is what jamaica needed to do in order to win the group.

If Samoa score 20 goals in the game, Jamaica will need to score 73.
If Samoa score 25 goals, Jamaica will need 85.
If Samoa score 30 goals, Jamaica will need 96.
and the jamaica and samoa game was 60 - 47 so therefore , aus got through. *PHEW*.LOL

Wow. I can't believe I missed this thread last year :O

What do you all think of this new trans-tasman comp for 2008. I have mixed feelings about it. Like, I know it's going to be brilliant for the status of the sport and all that, but if we're only putting in 5 teams from Oz, what's gonna happen to the up and coming talent? They're hardly going to get a spot on a squad, it's gonna be so much more competitive.

Also, do we have any Swifts fans on BOS? And is anyone interested in going to games this season? I usually go with my team, but a bunch of them are going to Africa at the endof the year now, and are saving pennies, so they'll only be able to afford a few games *sob*.

I was so keen about the World Champs being in NZ now (and VERY lucky that I hadn't booked the package to Fiji, because I heard they won't get most of their money back because travel insurance doesnt cover political unrest!!!), then realised they're on in my exam period in Novemeber, so I probably won't be able to go. Oh well, Maybe I'll finish early and be able to make it over for the final. When we reclaim no.1, right??? haha. No more Davu, so our players should be safe :p

I prefer to play (my 10th year) and umpire (my 4th), rather than to watch... but go the Aussies and Swifts.

No Davu, excellent! Did she retire or something?
