why is traffic seen as making your test harder? You don't even have to move.
You might be asked to change lanes from the farthest left to the right lane, and you only have 50m to change in heavy traffic. Not that straightforward under pressure.

Turning right at a traffic light with no green arrow, you have to judge the traffic on whether you should proceed into the intersection or stay behind the line. If you stay behind the line and there's an opening, you will be marked down. If you proceed into the intersection but you can't make the turn until the lights turn red, you will be marked down. (Decision Making)

You won't have your P's for long if you do shit like that. 2 demerit points and $200 fine just for not having plates displayed.

They won't mark you down for making a turn after proceeding into the intersection and not being able to turn right until the lights are red, since this is legal: http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roads/safety-rules/road-rules/intersections.html
