She didn't go for an ATAR, but she wants to apply for UWS college. Will they accept her?

Thanks

Your friend will need to go to TAFE and get a Cert IV or Diploma in a course. There she will complete her course and transfer to uni with respective credits in able to study at university.

Make sure you ask the TAFE about it, I'm sure they will be happy to help you.

TAFE oftentimes have it set up so you can complete X amount of TAFE study, and get Y amount of time off your uni degree. It really depends on what field you're going into, so you should ask the TAFE what pathways they have available.

For example, you can do a Diploma of Software Development (1 year 6 months) and then move straight into year 2 of an IT degree at UWS. The numbers in that example are probably wrong, but it's something like that.

Thanks mate. Advice noted!

We managed to get her in the Diploma of Arts @ UWS so she can then get into UWS law in 2nd year.
